How it played out in practice
The situation
Scattered records across three generations
A family in Damansara managing records for grandparents, parents, and two adult children. Documents were spread across four locations — the family home, one son's apartment, a filing cabinet nobody had opened in seven years, and a safety deposit box.
What we did
They started with the Household Reference Session to map current locations, then enrolled in the Family Records Programme to work through consolidation and labelling.
Over seven weeks, they produced a complete inventory and a household handbook with location notes for every document category.
The outcome
All four household members can now locate any document category within minutes. The handbook includes clear notes about which adult is responsible for each section.

The situation
Two siblings, different ideas about what to do
Adult siblings in their forties trying to plan around their parents' household. Both wanted to help but disagreed on approach, which was creating friction at family gatherings.
What we did
The two siblings and their parents attended the Family Conversation Workshop together. The facilitator used the prompt deck to structure the discussion around practical questions rather than opinions.
They agreed on three clear next steps before leaving the workshop.
The outcome
The family meeting agenda template has been used for two follow-up conversations since the workshop. Both siblings described the session as "surprisingly useful" and said the framework kept them focused.
